These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ADVANCE Daily application and website (the "Service") provided by Advancement Christian University, LLC("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ADVANCE Daily is a faith-driven coaching application that provides guided daily content (the 7-step ADVANCE method, AI coaching, Bible reading plan, vision board, life-area scoring, planner, live coaching and replay library) to subscribed users.
2. Eligibility & Account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent.
- If you create an account on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use during the period covered by your subscription.
4. Acceptable Use
You will not, and will not allow others to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any party;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (e.g. by uploading malware, probing, scraping, or attempting to bypass access controls);
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service or any content within it;
- circumvent any technical limits or feature gates.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, content, branding, and the ADVANCE method, is owned by Advancement Christian University, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We retain all rights not expressly granted to you.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (e.g. journal entries, goals, vision board images). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.
7. Payment, Subscription & Billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Profile screen inside the app, which opens the Paddle customer portal.
8. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or uninterrupted operation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Spiritual & Educational Content Disclaimer
Content in the Service — including AI coaching, devotionals, scripture reflections, and goal-setting guidance — is for personal growth and educational purposes only. It is not professional medical, mental health, financial, legal, or pastoral advice. AI outputs may be inaccurate; verify anything important and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated violations. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service. On termination, access to paid features ends at the end of the current billing period; your account data may be retained or deleted as described in our Privacy Notice.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Paddle for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Advancement Christian University, LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
15. Assignment & Force Majeure
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond their reasonable control.
